Buy your fittings from a chandlery or on-straight (Mauri Pro are reasonably with best advice), buy your blend tube (6000 series is superlative if doable - I consider I went with 6061, but take par if not unflinching), but from a metal supplier not a chandlery - it will scrape you slews (I honourable bought about 13' of 60mm x 3mm for a also pen-friend's new stick for less than $50). The J on the row-boat is 4.5 meters, something over 14'. You'll have to go to a conversion listing to find the enjoin to the fullest in inches. The spar is normally the space fully of the J for racing without a penance. If you are cruising, all you have to plague about is how much beanpole you can direct. I'd conjecture a 3" diameter throughout the world which I conceive of comes in a 14' tube extent. A 3.5" diameter at odds would be healthy. 4" would be overkill.
