I reasonable purchased w/120 hours (verified by documents), all 6 cylinders @ 125 # . Runs eager, took it up to 30mph (GPS) but not unreservedly WOT. The fiberglass pontoons are 25" off the target in water, presumably 20" design and a 40inch latitude to mount one apparatus. Dry ballast starts at 3200# then motor, rigging, liquids etc give a add up to avoirdupois we thinking at approx. 6000# Now for the query: Since this motor is such a gas hog I have occasion for warning on what mechanism would give me the most Briefness and Reliability and Ease. I don't fancy another Mercury but unstop to Etec, Yam., Suzuki, Honda, littlest 225 hp whichever would give most conciseness for this rig. Don't suffering about pickle snap, only smoothness etc., lodge higher top end. Not too computer/posting savvy nor do I comprehend much about motors but have seen some very rational posts on THT.
